Rational Numbers Class 7th (Alex Tandon)
Notes- Rational Numbers
Rational Numbers- You were also introduced to fractions.
These numbers form
numerator
denominator
Where the numerator is either 0 or a positive integer and the denominator, a positive integer.
For Example- p
q
P= 0 In the place of P positive, zero, and a negative integer is also putten.
But in the place of Q, there is only a positive or negative integer is putten.
Let's try to understand its formulas
These formulas are very important for this chapter.
Every integer is a rational number but a rational number is not an integer.
Every fraction is a rational number but a fraction need not be a rational number.
Two rational numbers are equal if they have the same standard form.
Two convert a rational number to an equivalent rational number, either multiply or divide both its numerator and denominator by non-zero integer
